Hi, and welcome!
I’m a writer of science fiction and fantasy, and this is an ongoing collection of my assorted speculative short fiction.
Some stories come in sets taking place in specific universes and revolving around certain characters; others are standalone.
For generations, the government has been using drugged water, most notably the rain, to keep the populace complacent.
The Order of the Free Watchers is tolerated as a necessary evil in this system: individuals immunised against the effects of the water, and overseeing the rest.
Two knights of the order try to balance their disdain for their world and occupation with the knowledge that their freedom is a grant from the very system they despise.
Humanity has found refuge in a distant solar system. But living conditions are harsh on even the more habitable of the planets.
Space stations are expected to offer refuge within the refuge, but failure is common there, as well.
Complicating the matter are strained diplomatic relations with the solar system’s native humanoid rival species, the reptilian Radzhi and the insectoid Meldeen.
The stories explore the lives and relationships of some of the solar system’s inhabitants.
They’re loosely connected and can be read in any order.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the stories!
